Ms. Bee and Ms. ButterflyHappy birthday ms. bestfriend ng jin tong! whoa do you know that it's been 12years since we first met in 1s Pei Chai? That time u still had holes on your teeth and it's black color. Anyway, having a best friend for 12years really ain't that easy. And guess what, we've been in the same class for a freaking 10years! And roomates during Taylor's days of course.
Knowing each other for more than half of our lives, I would say Tong is really a friend of a kind. Friendship is something we choose to do, not an obligation. We choose to be around certain type of people of our liking. If your force yourself to befriend someone is not to have that friend at all. Tong, Delwyn, Yan, and my fellow Satlaisers... are what I chose. They are the ones who witnessed me changing, not matter how painful to see, are still willing to be a part of my life.
Tong and I got to know each other on the very first day of school back in std1. We were so young and innocuous back then, it only took a smile to make friends. Who would have thought, we're best friends ever since. After JPA, we parted for our own paths. Of course, there's still the occassional meet ups which are becoming really rare these days because whenever we have time back in Ktn, spending time at home with our families are as important.
However, we grow separately, without growing apart. We eat and laugh together embarrassingly. It doesn’t matter, because we have seen each other in our worst times. And I miss your most celebrated laugh! It's been so long since we last laugh our lungs out. Remember how we used to laugh so much everyday in class with the girls that we hardly even study. Back then, going to school was more to having fun than to hit the books. Hah. It's a wonder how we got PSD.
Happy Birthday again and I hope next June we can really go somewhere! U must be thankful d, cos u know my collection of some of your most revolting pics... *evil grin*
